Q: What is the Steele County GOP Executive Committee?                             A: The Executive Committee is made up of 10 people, 5 men and 5 women, that is responsible for steering the local Republican Party.  There are two co-chairs that have additional responsiblities.  They are elected at the off-year county convention by the delegates and serve a two year term. election p

Q: How are delegates and alternates for the district and state conventions selected?                                                                                                     A: Delegates and alternates for both conventions are voted on at the on-year county convention.  Anyone who was elected as delegate or alternate on caucus night is eligible to be elected.  Delegates are not required to support a particular candidate.

Q: When does the Steele County GOP Executive Committee meet?               A: Meetings are held every 3rd Monday at 7pm.  Any conservative from Steele County is welcome to attend, but the Executive Committee does reserve the right to meet in private when neccesary.
